I've been swimming a lot, it is very hot here! When we were at the lake Police and a helicopter were there but we couldn't see anything wrong... everyone was swimming like normal. The next day Dom's Mom told us a 26 year old man drowned! So sad, and easy to forget how dangerous life can be. It is scary... I was swimming laps and I could have kicked a dead body. Needless to say I haven't been there since.
I had a bad morning, the bus was (according to the board) 15 min late but ended up being about 30 min late, so I was late to school. Got my first test back, and I did superbly! They grade tests 1-6 (1= very good, 6 = fail) and I got a 1+ (even better than a 1!) On the way back home from school I forgot to push the button that makes the bus stop so I had to walk "extra" to get to Dominic's house. I was distracted because this old man on the bus (no one be offended, he was probably 80 or 90) was telling me to check out www.amerika-in-augsburg.de. Will do, tomorrow.
Dom rode Rodrigo and he was not lame, so he will start back into work slowly. They ordered a sheepskin saddle pad for Ali so his back won't be irritated, and as soon as that comes he will go back to work. Off to bed, "hausaufgaben" finished!
My German Scholar!!!!! AWESOME job :) Did you thank your superb tutors?? I look forward to hear you speaking German.
ReplyDeleteI am getting ready for my big overnight in Boston with Auntie Shannon!! I'm a little worried I won't be able to keep up with her, but I'll try my hardest :) We will have A LOT of fun!! AS has the two days planned to a "T", so I'm just going along for the ride... no worries! I'll take pictures :)
Glad to hear the horses are better! Hope you are back to riding soon.
"Pretty Little Liars" is on at 8:00 and I have to pack first! Night, night :)
Love you,
Mom

Nice photos again Ali! I like the one of the adult duck and I really like the way the water looks in the photo of the swan.
ReplyDeleteNancie and I went up to NH (3 hours) to a doctor's appointment for Nancie. It was the first time we have left all the dogs at someone's house. My friend Ruth, whose Bernese Mountain Dog stayed with us for five weeks was the babysitter. I am happy to say Maisie has come a long way and is actually letting other people pet her. The dogs seemed to think that they had gone off to summer camp and had a blast.
I managed to hurt my left foot pretty badly and am hobbling around , cursing a lot, but hobbling all the same.It hasn't discouraged the baby goats from running into me when I take them out for a walk around the pond while I cut willow branches for them. How can something so cute be so annoying?! I wonder if anyone ever said that about you? Just kidding!!!
Anyway, stay cool and keep up with the photos.
Cheers, Ceacy and Nancie

Off to Boston with Mama this morning. She's worried that she can't keep up with me...she should be:) We will have an awesome time, lot's off shopping, eating, and drinking. Plus I booked us at a very fancy hotel. I am sure she will take lots of pictures for you.
Hi to Dom and his parents. How are the grandparents? Grandma Judy's birthday this Saturday. Send her an email.
