Sorry I have been slacking off on my blog... excuses: lost memory card for camera, Dominic's return home, etc. I bought a new memory card and so here are a few pictures from dinner tonight. I ate a bite of the mini golden fish with "eatable" bones and ate about 5 bites of the Mackerel. I will be up to date on this more now, tomorrow I will go to observe in a school to see if I want to take German class there!
That dinner looks delicious to me, pretty table setting too :) MUCH better than the meat in jello! Can't wait to hear about German class... you have LOTS of tutors to help you :) :) :) 97 degrees here today!! We're off to the boat :)
ReplyDeleteLove you LOTS,

Ali,
ReplyDeleteIf I had to pick a theme about your trip to Germany based on your blog it would have to be about how you ate your way through the summer! You write more about food than horses, now that has to be a first.
Hotter than hell here today but we got our first cutting in, 52 round bales which was less than last year but it is incredibly dry this summer. We had a new guy haying for us and he did a great job for the most part but he was taken by surprise by the lowest hay field sloping in two directions and we lost five!!!!bales down the hill and they ended up picking up so much speed that they went over the stone wall and disappeared into the woods. I actually intercepted one of them and chased it into the pasture with the skid steer, ( that maxs out at 6mph)and kind of tackled the runaway bale. I had a lot of trouble getting it out of the field but managed to prevail.Farrier comes tomorrow and it is supposed to be even hotter than today! Yikes.
I hope that the weather where you are is nicer.
Lots of love, Ceacy and Nan
