Today I slept until about 11. It was great! Still sick. We cleaned a little bit and then went shopping because needed ingredients for my "American" dinner. Needless to say, it was not anything like what we eat. I tried to do burgers and corn on the cob, but they don't have either of those things here (I figured out when we were shopping...) The burgers were frozen "American Burgers" and the corn was... well... lets just say freeze-dried astronaut cow corn. Dominic was amazed when I told him we actually get corn fresh and peel it. The corn was fed to the bird ;) and the hamburgers were all eaten. I just have to make pancakes soon, I think they have more similar ingredients! Alps tomorrow! Lazing around now, drinking tea.
P.S. Read yesterdays blog it has the Munich pictures. It should be under this entry.
Glad to see Coco enjoying the corn :) Our chickens have been loving our corn cobs. Ask Dom's parents if I can bring corn?? They have to experience the REAL thing! You get an "A" for effort!! Have a wonderful time tomorrow in the Alps... can't wait to see pictures :) Very nice family shot!

Hey Sweet Pea,
ReplyDeleteShould I be concerned that you are still sick? Drink lots of fluids like Mama said!
Great photos of Munich. What a beautiful city! And the whole group watching experience of the game seems like a blast.
Finnegan just jumped up in my lap...I'm showing him the picture of the bird...at least someone liked the corn:) And you do get a "A" for effort.
The garden tour yesterday was beautiful, it rained most of the time though.
Can't wait to see photos of the Alps! Make sure to practice your yodeling before you go:)
Miss you

Hola Ali-Bodally!
ReplyDeleteJust wondering if the bird is still alive today after eating that corn? Would be a shame if that noisy, obnoxious bird passed away... :) thinking you need to go to a local American restaurant and get take-out .. bring it home, and put it on good plates, while everyone is not looking and say you made it! I see in the pic that Dom's parents were saving the best (corn) for last. Hope you are feeling better and enjoy the Alps today!
Love
Dad
